Asheia, the Sword of Lust

Aura strong enchantment; CL 16th
Slot none; Price n/a (artifact); Wiight 6 lbs

This blade is believed to be one of the Seven Swords of Sin.

This beautiful blade is a +2 flaming longsword. When commanded, it crackles with bright blue flames. Its blade glints like polished silver. Its hilt is fashioned to represent entwined lovers, and its pommel resembles a breast. Upon a successful critical hit, the target must make a DC 20 Will save or be under the effect of a charm monster spell, as if cast by the possessor of the sword.

As with all of the Seven Swords of Sin, the blade is believed to have additional powers when in the hands of the legitimate Champion of Lust.

After the fall of Thassilon, the Seven Swords of Sin were scattered. According to the Pathfinder Society, Asheia was discovered by an elven priestess of Calistria in the Thassilonian ruin known as the Sunken Pyramid in the Mushfens of southern Varisia in the waning days of the Age of Destiny. Mistaking it for a Calistrian artifact, she brought it back to the elven city of Celwynvian in the Meriani Forest in northern Varisia, where is remained for three millennia. It was lost in 2993 AR when a diplomatic party of elves was attacked by a well-organized squad of Red Mantis assassins, and all were slain. Rumors that Asheia was recovered by the Pathfinder Society were confirmed by the Sandpoint Heroes in the winter of 4708, when Venture-Captain Shiela Heidmarch of Magnimar showed the blade to the adventurers. Yet, the same day, a daring raid funded by the Aspis Consortium stole the artifact, leading the Sandpoint Heroes on a chase across Varisia. The Sandpoint Heroes found the blade in the possession of a priestess of Lissala called Tirana in the city of Kaer Maga, but Tirana managed to escape capture, taking Asheia with her.

Current Status: Last seen in the possession of Tirana.
