This medallion appears to be a silver disc etched with an rune in the shape of a seven-pointed star (the Sihedron Rune of ancient Thassilon). The medallion grants a +1 resistance bonus to all saving throws. Additionally, the wearer can use the medallion to activate a false life effect once per day (gaining 1d10+5 temporary hit points). Finally, when placed around the neck of a dead body, it prevents decomposition as a gentle repose spell.

The evil aasimar priestess Nualia Tobyn was wearing a Sihedron Medallion when she was killed by the Sandpoint Heroes on 16 Rova 4707.
Status: Claimed by Larissa the Swift, who later used it as her bonded object when she became a wizard.

A second identical medallion was recovered from the corpse of the vampire Xanesha on 27 Lamashan 4707.
Status: This second medallion was claimed by Declan Fintane

A third identical medallion was recovered from the body of the lamia matriarch Lucretia on 6 Kuthona 4707.
Status: The third medallion was claimed by McGregor.

A fourth identical medallion was recovered from the stone giant wizard Barl Breakbones on 12 Kuthona 4070.
Status: unclaimed.

A fifth gargantuan-sized but otherwise identical medallion was found around the neck of a 30-foot-tall giant statue at the entrance of Kreeg Clanhold; investigation revealed that the statue was actually a dessicated corpse of a gargantual giant, preserved by the medallion itself.
